1940 Ford Grille – Standard – Machined Billet Aluminum
This 1940 Ford Standard grille insert is interchangeable with the 1940/41 Ford truck.
Each bar has a different curve, so the transition from the center to outside is smooth.
Bars are roughly 1/2″ apart, center to center, at the bottom of the grille and open up to roughly 5/8″ apart, center to center, at the top of the grille.
Laser cut fender flanges so the mounting holes are exact and line up to the stock location.
The inside of the top horizontal bar has the same shape as the original and works with any aftermarket hood latch/air deflector assembly.

Description

1940 Ford Grille – Standard – Machined Billet Aluminum
NOTE: You will still need the upper grille brace for your hood latch.
NOTE: The hood latch will now have to be cable operated as there is no clearance pocket on the front of this grille for the original hood latch lever on the hood.

NOTE: This insert is for a 1940 Ford Standard as it is different in size then a 1939 grille.
A 1939 Deluxe hood peak is 1 1/4″ farther forward than a 1940 Standard hood peak.
